I’m officially an uncle! Kolbe Alexander Asmussen was born to Mark and Laura Asmussen on November 9th, 2007 at 2:21AM weighing 5lbs 6ozs. Laura was rushed to an emergency c-section after being diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome late Thursday night. The only way to reverse Laura’s health was to deliver the baby. Both Laura and Kolbe are doing very well today and should be leaving the hospital either Monday or Tuesday.

Baby Kolbe was born with a small cleft lip and palate. He’s been working hard to eat using a special bottle and doing well.
